JOB CREATION AND UPSKILLING

Direct labour employed in the construction of the plant is anticipated to be 56,000+ man hours, much of which will be sourced from the local area.

Pavilion will source as much equipment and materials as possible from local suppliers – over time the development of its supply chain in Australia will result in increased local equipment sourcing as well as extensive upskilling of Victorian labour.

On commissioning of the project, Pavilion will employ at least 10 FTEs in operations of the plant and its ongoing AD and fertiliser operations and more personnel for planning and executing the roll out strategy. The FTE’s will include engineers, technicians, labourers, maintenance and a fertiliser team.

Victorian Businesses will benefit directly from the following product, equipment and services used in the Anakie project and ongoing supply to new developments;

  • Electrical services
  • Mechanical services
  • Pumps
  • Dryers
  • Belt Presses
  • Steel
  • Gas Mixers
  • EPA Consulting
  • Grid Connection Consulting
  • Transport of feedstock
  • Transport of fertiliser
  • Sales of Fertiliser
  • Emissions reduction forecasting and commercial analysis

A substantial opportunity exists to upskill regional Victorian businesses and local workforce in many of the areas of AD. This will provide further business and job growth.
