PROJECT OVERVIEW
Pavilion AD plant– High Level Inputs and Outputs
Pavilion plans to process 19,700 tonnes of Chicken Litter from its own Anakie chicken farms and 10,000 tonnes of food and agricultural waste through its OFBF plant. The key inputs and outputs are highlighted below.
OFBF Plant Inputs (annual)
- 19,700+ tonnes of Chicken Litter
- 10,000 tonnes of carbon rich agricultural and food waste which would otherwise go to landfill eg Cattle paunch, fruit and vegetable waste, cheese whey or a combination of all
- 157,500 cubic metres of recyclable water (80%+ recycled back through AD process)
OFBF Plant Outputs (annual)
- 5,000,000+m3 of methane, convertible to 21,000Mw of renewable power per annum
- Equivalent amount of heat with multi use applications to be investigated
- 6,000+ tonnes of dry, nutrient rich, concentrated organic fertiliser with high NPK
- 3,100,000 +m3 of CO2 capable of being upgraded to food grade quality
- Potential CO2e offsets of 30,000+ tonnes per annum
- Significant local jobs
